For over a century, the art of coach-building has been woven into Bugatti’s DNA. From Jean Bugatti’s iconic automotive designs to Rembrandt Bugatti’s sculptural masterpieces, the brand has always been defined by a relentless pursuit of artistic excellence.

Today, Bugatti unveils the Solitaire Programme — an exclusive new chapter in its legacy. This bespoke offering invites the creation of truly singular automobiles, each one a tribute to the marque’s storied heritage and a bold exploration of the limits of personalisation and craftsmanship.

"The Solitaire program allows us to authentically realize our customers' individual visions and gives us greater flexibility to explore different interpretations of the traditional Bugatti design elements. With a one-off, we have much more freedom to reinterpret what defines a Bugatti, while remaining absolutely uncompromising in our pursuit of perfection down to the smallest detail. There are no compromises in performance, quality, or design. Each of these precious Solitaire models will be unique and incomparable, offering a level of attention to detail unmatched even in the most exclusive automotive creations." Credit: www.Buggati.com

The inaugural creation in the Solitaire range—elevating personalisation beyond even the exceptional standards of Bugatti Sur Mesure—is Brouillard, a breathtaking coupé inspired by Ettore Bugatti’s cherished horse. Named after the loyal companion who famously learned to open his own stable door thanks to a clever mechanism designed by Ettore himself, this masterpiece pays homage to the founder’s deep affection for horses—especially his favourite. Brouillard was a magnificent thoroughbred, his coat as white as freshly fallen snow, dappled with the soft hues of a summer dawn. He was no ordinary steed, but the embodiment of all Ettore admired: speed, beauty, and effortless grace.
