Blender Rampage Rally Animation Challenge Levels up

3D artist Ethan Davis creates an amazing Rampage Rally challenge animation, this is a community lead contest by Clinton Jones (Pwnisher).
Ethan rally car animation gives the impression of a dedicated 3D studio with a sizeable budget can produce, in actuality, it was just Ethan. From lifelike textures and camera motion to tiny lens water droplets, every detail adds to the realism.

Tools and Workflow
The piece was built in Blender, with texturing done in Substance 3D Painter. Davis spent about a week on the project, working roughly six hours each day to refine the shot into a polished, cinematic moment.
The Challenge Framework
Rampage Rally gave all participants the same setup: a short car-jump sequence. Within those boundaries, submissions were judged on narrative, lighting, composition, and animation.
Why It Stands Out
This project shows how far a focused workflow and accessible software can go. Davis proves that subtle touches, not complexity, often make CGI believable.
